My First walk and mountain climb

Before I became disabled in any way I loved nothing more than getting out into the fresh air and climbing a hill or a mountain and if that was not available a waterfall walk was fair game. This is the thing i have missed the most, but for me there was hope, a chance that one day i would be able to get out there once again and with the help of Calipers, a back brace and crutches i did it and with a great group of friends i loved every second of it.

Parachute Jump

“Do the thing you fear and death of fear is certain”

So it is no secret that i have a fear of heights, i am not exactly that fond of planes so the idea of getting in a plane going to 15000 feet and jumping out was not going to be easy.

when a great friend of mine Mandy Scott asked me to do that very thing in memory of her beautiful daughter Tash there was never a second i thought about any other response other than count me in.

And what a day and what an experience, of course I had my worries not things like falling to my death but worries about how was i going to achieve it and what was going to be my difficulties.

Well truth is my worries where unjust and with the support of the goskydive team and with the other 17 people jumping this was by far one of the best things i have ever done and one day i will do this again for sure.
