At DESIGNATE we are specialists in Inclusive Design and believe that everyone, including those with minor or major health conditions, is entitled to enjoy aesthetic and aspirational 21st Century Living. We are committed to enablement, equality and diversity.
Our service is unique because all design work is undertaken by an Interior Designer who is also a qualified Occupational Therapist so that clients are able to benefit from working with one person throughout the design process. Occupational Therapy skills are used in both client assessments and in undertaking risk- assessments of high street and bespoke products for safe use. Whenever possible, DESIGNATE designs feature stylish alternatives to traditional clinical solutions. In cases where disability- specific products are necessary these are disguised using our innovative Interior Design skills.
We are dedicated to facilitating ‘normal living’ environments and client involvement is integral to the design process. Working together, and using an interactive 3D CAD programme, client and designer create living spaces that are safe stimulating and exciting in which clients and families will thrive physically and psychologically.
Clients must be self-funding.
Service provision includes: Interior Design advice, small and large projects.
