Following the successful social meet-up at The Refuel Bar & Restaurant in the Soho Hotel last month I would like to invite every lovely London-centric business owner, freelancer and entrepreneur to a wonderfully informal meet-up on Wednesday 29th June 5-9 pm for the third of our monthly solo workers’ version of the traditional after-work drinks and a bite to eat.
The aim of these events is to develop a supportive community of SME owners and self-employed individuals so that we can share in each other’s successes, and challenges and build some fantastic relationships.
There will be no 60-second intros, no presentations, no referral requirements and if you bring a name badge I may have to send you home!

I’ll be there to host but this is mainly an opportunity for like-minded individuals and business owners to meet up on the last Wednesday of every month. It’s a chance to share our successes and challenges, chat and build genuine relationships. It will be fantastic if you find new clients, suppliers or even partnerships but blatant pitching for new business is not the primary reason for this monthly event.
Feel free to forward this invitation to any fellow business owners who you think may benefit from and add value to socialising once a month with like-minded business people. However, please impress upon anyone you invite that we’re here to build a business community, not a marketplace.
Before each monthly social, I’ll circulate the contact details of those who have registered to attend via a group email so that you can set up one to ones should you wish or just have a sneak peek at each other’s LinkedIn profiles in advance of the event.
The venue will be the Refuel Bar & Restaurant at Soho Hotel. We will have a space in the bar area for drinks and we will also be able to order food from their delicious bar menu.
