The first Book Fair at Swindon Railway Village, where 11 authors from Wiltshire and the South West will have their books on sale. If you love books, come along and visit, and meet the local authors.
This is being run in collaboration with the Mechanics Institute Trust, who we are very grateful to for giving us the opportunity to use their venue.
The authors books are of adult and children’s fiction, apart from two authors who have books about the history of Swindon. Entrance is free.
Following the Book Fair, we have a Meet the Authors event, where 6 of the authors will be interviewed and the audience will be able to ask questions too. This will be introduced by Lis McDermott and led by Fiona Scott of Scott Media. You can book tickets for this – costing £3 on the same link as the Book Fair.
